About The Course
The use of the mindfulness/mindful awareness approach in individual therapy is generally an ambiguous subject due to its experiential nature. Its individual application in the world has been integrated into some behavioral therapies, such as ACT and DBT. However, these do not directly focus on mindfulness/mindful awareness; they merely integrate mindfulness into the therapeutic process. On the other hand, MBSR/MBCT, which are first-generation mindfulness-based approaches, are group programs. The use of mindfulness in individual care/therapy stems from the therapist's own mindfulness training and their own state of being mindful. Mindfulness is not a technique or a set of techniques. It is an experiential process rather than a conceptual one.
